The staff was fairly friendly and nice. My breakfast was sensational at reasonable prices. I truly enjoyed location, it was particularly good, just off Cheddar Gorge, Weston-super-mare and the beautiful Cheddar. In fact, it was located on sea.

Breakfast with a Gluten Free option. Unbeatable and amazing location not far from Weston-super-mare, and the beautiful Cheddar. Nice surrounding, set on sea.

The location was perfect, with Cheddar Gorge and other attractions just minutes away. The lodge itself was spotlessly clean and had modern fixtures and fittings. The beds were comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. We also appreciated the little touches like the complimentary water and tea bags. Checking in and out was easy, and the onsite cafe was a nice bonus. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay.
In terms of drawbacks, the Wi-Fi was quite poor and there was no phone signal, a bit inconvenient for staying connected. a few essential items were missing from the lodge, like table spoons, an oven glove, hand soap, and a hairdryer.

Stayed at a jaw-dropping lodge which was mind-blowingly beautiful with all the necessary amenities for cooking. The location was absolutely amazing, just minutes away from breathtaking Cheddar Gorge and a short drive to Wookey Hole and Weston-super-mare. Despite being close to the road, the serene surroundings were super quiet. The on-site cafe served a delicious breakfast and the lodge itself was spotlessly clean, like it was brand new. The beds were super comfy and we had a great night's sleep. The shower had fantastic pressure and hot water. The provided white bed linen and towels were top-notch. We will definitely be back for another enjoyable stay! The lodge had ample parking and was located in the heart of the Mendips. The living area was spacious and well laid out, and we loved the scenic views from both the front and rear of the property. Although there was some road noise, the sizable decking area and lawn space in the front made up for it. We also appreciated the convenience of the picnic tables for our BBQ. The area itself was lovely and we were very close to the beautiful Cheddar. our stay was fantastic and we highly recommend it! Free Wi-Fi and parking, with a flat-screen TV provided. No smoking on site.

We stayed at Lillypool Lodges for my husband's 40th and had a fantastic time. The host went above and beyond, decorating the lodge and even leaving us a bottle of fizz. Despite visiting in January, the lodge was warm and cozy. It was impressively clean and tidy, with comfortable furnishings. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. The location was great, with plenty of parking and easy check-in and check-out. The lodge offered great value for money, with access to Freeview TV and amenities like water, tea, and coffee. The owner, Rob, was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed, including a travel cot for our little one.
Can recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic time at Lillypool Lodges during our long weekend trip. The scenic views from the front and rear of the property were stunning, and we loved making use of the spacious living area and sizeable decking area. The breakfast was delicious and well-presented, and the location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions. The lodge itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The added bonus of freeview TV with catchup apps and the provision of water and tea/coffee sachets were thoughtful touches. we had a great experience and would definitely return!
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.
